Summary: Bishop Peak is the highest in the chain of nine Morros (but not the most difficult to hike).

AT 1,559 feet, it has three distinctive peaks, with a great 360 degree view of the coast to the inland mountains, including SLO, Los Osos Valley, El Chorro Valley, and all the Morros from Morro Rock to Islay Hill. The hike up this ancient volcanic mountain passes through grasslands and oak woodlands prior to reaching massive granite boulders at the top.
